John has many years experience in business, social enterprise and local development. He began his career in education and later moved to the private sector where he held a number of business development and marketing roles with Coca Cola Bottlers Ireland and Bass Brewers (Tennents Ireland Ltd).
Prior to his current appointment in 2003, John held a senior management position in Northside Partnership Ltd. a local development company, and was involved in the strategic development and delivery of quality employment services and training solutions. Here he gained extensive knowledge and experience of working with multiple stakeholders across the business, state, NGO and community sectors.
He is currently a member of Council on the North Dublin Chamber of Commerce and also on the Management Committee of Colaiste Dhulaigh CDVEC College of Further Education.
